April’s focus will give you and your athletes numerous opportunities to test out at least two classic CrossFit benchmark workouts per week. April’s benchmark tests will increase the insight you and your athletes gained from the Open better equipping them with new training targets. Our goal is to provide you and your athletes with helpful insight into the how, what, and why of performing benchmark’s Rx’d or scaled. On top of that, the programming is heavily targeted toward nonstructural conditioning. We’ve created team options, interval workouts, numerous logistical considerations to make sure that you and your atheltes can take advantage of all of the conditioning machines in your gym. Lastly, we are keeping up with two heavy days a week that will help balance out the rest of higher volume and conditioning-centric programming throughout April. Consistent application of heavy days throughout April keeps everyone strong while they simultaneously build their cardioresperitory endurance.
